Everyone loses hair. It happens during your morning shower, while you’re blowing it dry, or when you give it a quick brush—and that’s normal. “On average, we lose fifty to a hundred hairs a day,” says Francesca Fusco, MD, a New York City dermatologist who specializes in hair loss. “That’s just hair going through its cycles, and there will be a new one to replace it.”
This study claims laser therapy does have some sort of effect, but I’ve never found any people who swear by it, like for minoxidil, finasteride, and keto. I wouldn’t waste my money on it. To be honest with you, I’m on minox, fin and keto for about 3 years now and still experience sheds every once in a while. I wouldn’t worry about it. While my hair is shedding my hairline is staying intact. How often do you use the keto shampoo?
Several health conditions, including thyroid disease and iron deficiency anemia, can cause hair loss. While thyroid blood tests and other lab tests, including a complete blood count (CBC), on people who have ordinary hair loss are usually normal, it is important to exclude treatable causes of hair loss.
I’m still not bald enough. I would like my hair to recede a little more off the sides and the back and end up with a smaller fringe of hair. And I would like to lose that last bit of thin ‘peach fuzz’ I still have on top. It is almost invisible and I can hardly feel it, but I know it’s still there.

Vitamin C prevents hair from becoming brittle and breaking. In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study published in the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, researchers tested an oral supplement containing vitamin C in women with thinning hair. They found the supplement promoted “significant hair growth in women with temporary hair thinning.” Although we often think of oranges as the best source of vitamin C, one guava packs four to five times as much. We’ve rounded up 6 more foods that are the Best Sources of Vitamin C.
Hi Domen, an update: I find hair regrowth at the widows peak edges hairline. Surprisingly o contradictorily no difference in the vertex or or crown. Though my widows peak had been thinning since just last year – so is that why finestride has been effective there and not elsewhere?

I am very pleased with my FUT hair transplant and plasma injections. My hair had receded quite a bit and thinning out. It has been 18 months now. For the first time in my life I can wear my hair with or without bangs! He lowered my hair line, which complimented my high forehead. He is very professional and thorough. I posted before and after pictures on my Facebook last week. I highly recommend him.
The chemical indirectly to blame for genetic hair loss is a naturally occurring enzyme called 5 Alpha Reductase. In those who are susceptible to Male Pattern Baldness, this enzyme acts upon the male sex hormone testosterone, converting it into the more powerful derivative, dihydrotestosterone (DHT). It is this DHT which causes the follicles to shrink and become less productive. Generally speaking, the follicles are often not lost, but the hair they produce gradually becomes too small to be seen clearly with the naked eye. The result is Male Pattern Baldness.
